Who We Are: Repurposed Waders is a Maine-based 501C nonprofit arm of Maine Fly Company. Built by anglers and environmental stewards who couldn’t ignore the question: what happens to all the old waders? Our team is a mix of creatives, conservationists, and passionate fly fishers united by the idea that waste doesn’t have to be the end of the line. With every stitch and story, we aim to connect people to the water—and to each other.

Our Origin: One riverside conversation led to a movement. It started with a pile of used waders and a big idea: could this gear do more? Could it serve a new purpose, protect the environment, and tell a better story? The answer was yes, and Repurposed Waders was born.
